2017 Pearls of Promise and Poise Debutante Cotillion

Ivy Vine Charities, Incorporated hosts its Debutante Cotillion program bi-annually to nurture young women and to raise funds for college scholarships and community service programs in the Washington Metropolitan area. The debutante process involves a series of activities to develop and enhance social graces, career planning, cultural awareness, and family relationships, culminating in a Cotillion Ball in November 2017.

In addition to the personal experience of the Debutantes, they also have the opportunity to earn scholarships to further their education. During our past Cotillion programs, over $30,000 in scholarships and prizes were awarded to our Debutantes.

Ivy Vine Charities, Incorporated, a charitable foundation of Theta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 1994, awards scholarships to college students, supplements educational activities for youth and adults, and provides financial aid and volunteer support to local and national charitable organizations. As a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, contributions to the Ivy Vine Charities, Incorporated are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
